Small instrument.
Big lunatic energy.
I play ukulele in public, on purpose—solo when sensible, with fellow strummers when the occasion calls for glorious excess. Familiar songs, warm silliness, and four strings doing their level best.
Book a gigThe Ukulunatic forecast: 100% chance of strumming
What to expect
Music with its tie loosened.
The ukulele may be compact, but it arrives carrying an astonishing amount of personality. Here is what it tends to unpack.
Songs you know
Familiar tunes, freshly dressed in four strings and a slightly crooked grin.
Human-sized fun
Warmth, wit, and audience-friendly mischief—without turning your event into a hostage situation.
Happy gatherings
Parties, pubs, community events, fundraisers, and rooms that could use considerably more strumming.
A perfectly sensible obsession
Serious about the music. Deeply unserious about nearly everything else.
Whether I’m playing in a library, a pub, a community gathering, or somewhere a ukulele was not entirely expected, I bring songs people recognize and an atmosphere that gives everyone permission to relax.
Sometimes there are more ukuleles. This is not a bug. It is how the situation escalates.
A ukulele is what happens when a guitar decides life is too short to be taken seriously.

Got a room full of people?
I know a tiny instrument with opinions. Send me the date, location, approximate audience, and whether there will be cake. The cake is not contractually required, but it demonstrates excellent judgment.
